Inauguration of the national terminal at Antananarivo airport

Starting today, the national terminal reveals its new face.

A reimagined space to be the first showcase of Malagasy hospitality and a place where passengers travel in complete serenity, where every journey begins with a smoother, more serene, and more welcoming experience.

From January 2025 to date, an average of 60 aircraft movements per day have been recorded at Antananarivo airport, divided between 32 regular movements (19 national, 11 regional, and 2 international) and 27 private aircraft movements (25 national and 2 regional).

The terminal’s capacity, at the “optimum” service level, increased from 120 passengers per hour to 216 passengers per hour. Similarly, the capacity of the conveyor belt increased from 297 pieces of luggage per hour for a length of 26 linear meters to 900 pieces of luggage per hour for a belt of 80 linear meters.

A new chapter is opening, driven by the commitment of the teams and the desire to offer infrastructure to international standards, in the service of Madagascar and its travelers.

Welcome to this new experience.
