]]> Ravinala Airports received the award: Runner-up in the “Digital Communication & Engagement Awards 2026” competition, category “Digital Innovation and Community Engagement” from ACI Africa or Airports Council International Africa.

ACI Africa brings together African airports and represents their interests at the continental and international levels. This result is the fruit of thorough work and creativity in communication and digital innovation to strengthen community engagement both internally and externally, and to improve and facilitate the passenger experience.

 

This award encourages us to work even harder on passenger tranquility and the development of positive relationships with the entire community.

 

Ravinala Airports becomes the first airport manager in the category of less than 2 million passengers to receive this distinction, and in the overall ranking, it ranks second among African airports, just behind Egypt (airport in the category of over 20 million passengers).

The official award ceremony announcing the winner of the Art’éroport artistic competition took place today at Antananarivo International Airport, managed by Ravinala Airports.

This unique project aims to dress a stationary aircraft at the airport with art, through the themes “Malagasy culture and traditions,” “Malagasy biodiversity and nature,” and/or “Travel and Madagascar’s openness to the world.”

Visible to more than one million passengers, this artistic aircraft will become an iconic photobooth at the country’s main gateway.

This initiative is also part of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program of Airports Council International (ACI), whose objective is to enhance the passenger experience and create a positive and inspiring atmosphere within the airport.

They will receive a prize of 10,000,000 Ariary and will produce their artwork with the financial support of Ravinala Airports.

Accessible via a simple QR code displayed in multiple areas of the boarding hall, this initiative allows passengers to directly contribute to reforestation in Madagascar.

 

The principle is simple:

👉 Each scan triggers the planting of a tree.
